Pressure to lose weight after babies

Us mums have enough responsibility, let a lone the pressure to lose weight! 

Cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, washing, drying and putting away clothes, managing the household, work…raising children! So much, right?

After I had my babies, I remember feeling like I had to lose weight, or, I was made to feel that I needed to Look Good…

But, I told myself, it is this body that gave me my two precious babies, so I am going to embrace my post pregnancy body!

I have enough of things to worry about, and losing weight should be the least of my worries..

When I was ready, I worked hard and got back into my pre-pregnancy clothes

Do you ever feel pressure to lose weight?

Amidst the busyness of raising two girls under 2, I made sure I prioritised my well-being. Sometimes I would just sit on my kitchen floor and just enjoy a hot cup of tea with a piece of cake  Other times I would play my favourite songs and exercise to music  

Moving my body, and fun exercise always gave me a boost of energy 

Now, I run an online exercise class designed specifically for mums. Not for you to lose weight, but for you to do something fun for yourself! And it’s just a bonus that you happen to lose weight 

I know it’s hard to find time for ourselves, but when we do, even if it’s five minutes a day, it makes us feel better
